It's been a long winter here. It got up to 41 here today so I took advantage and rode. It's supposed to snow again tonight then get cold as hell again. Oh well, spring is on the way.

I spent most of my money on women, whiskey, and motorcycles. The rest, I just wasted.

Yeah I feel ya...
It's been raining here since Thursday, the last 4 days. It's also the only 4 days it's rained since new years.

There's plenty of ride videos to check out - it's the least we can do for our brothers under the snow. :icon_cheesygrin:

I think we may have had a snowflake this year. Almost slipped on it. :icon_cool:

Almost slipped on a snow flake. :icon_laughing: Gotta be a wise ass, :icon_mrgreen: It looks like it's going to warm up some here. It's supposed to be in the 40s this weekend. You know what I'll be doing.

You'd hate it here. Sunny, warm, great places to ride... oh yeah, it's legal to split lanes. You get through traffic and get to use the carpool lanes. Can't image why I moved here 30 years ago and never looked back.

I had 1 winter with my bike in the cold and frosty North East. I rode it every chance I got. I remember one day it was my GF's birthday and I had promised her a ride on the bike - January 23, 1995 - go look it up - (-20 degrees that day) We bundled up and drove around the city for a half hour then had to take a 2 hour shower.. I was warm in the first couple minutes... if you get my drift. :icon_winking:

I remember riding with snowbanks on the side of the road but the road was clear. Yeah - it was a cold memory.

Keep warm - check out the ride videos - you ever make it out this way, I'll show you around.

Left for North Carolina (756miles)Wednesday at midnite 2-26-13. Arrived in NC noon the following day Thursday. Its mostly a rest and recoop day having been up all nite. Friday I spent the day getting everything done I needed done, it was a great day and still had 2 more days.....or so I thought. Started hearing about a major 2 stage snow storm stalled in the midwest and heading to the NE. Well I'll be a f*cked puppy. What to do what to do. The choices came down to stayting till Tuesday or leaving Saturday ergo missing 2 days in NC. For a number of reasons we bailed back to NH Saturday. Wished I could have stayed longer but I am absolutely not down driving in the snow. I don't like it. 70mph+ cruising speeds turn into 30mph if you're lucky. And its not you you have to worry about.

Winter sux
