Had a really nice ride yesterday. Went out to Borrego Springs, CA. Some really technical roads, and beautiful panoramic vistas on the route.
Got some pics of the Artwork - Enjoy.

For the first half of the ride I got 54 mpg... not bad for a back yard mechanic. Just did the first oil change on the new engine - nothing out of the ordinary. I got all the filings out and she's doing really good. Knock on wood!!

Hey Bi - good to hear from you - I hope the climate in NC is much nicer than what you're leaving. - The pic's are in the desert, it was 85 in the shade. I'm much cooler with my mesh jacket on - and we were hoping from artwork to artwork so I kept my helmet on too.

Got some special shots of the kids playing in the sandbox.
Weljo showing us all how its done & Done Well!! With an FJR no less :icon_You_Rock:

The sand was real sand, like at the beach sand - must be those wide tires that kept him from sinking in.

We had a blast - but it seems like the day just shot by.

If you cold weather guys want to see what February Riding in the Desert looks like make sure you check out the videos.

Nice vids! :icon_hat: It's been an unseasonably warm winter this year here in the southwest for sure. Beautiful riding this year. Haven't had to pull out my winter leathers once.
Because of my business I pay close attention to the weather patterns. I hope we're not looking at record highs out here this summer this summer.

We just rain for 4 days - the weather might change. The last time I remember getting rain like this it was an El Nino. Those years are wetter and cooler.
