Went on a New Years Day Ride with a new friend and my best friends here in California. A big surprise was that my GF went on her first ride with me. She did fantastic and the Versys handled it well. Great Roads,Fantastic Company and Good Food. The New Year couldn't have started off any better. A bonus was a trip to the candy store at Toms Farm.:D:D

I only did 85 miles New Year's Day temps were low twentys to high teens. Always enjoy ridieing the first day of the year in New England

I usually ride my bicycle the first day of the year - I like riding with my buddies and eating a steak sandwich more!@!

Was a real surprise to see Weljo's girl with him - so much so - I didn't recognize her with the full face helmet on - and - since we had a new guy with us - I assumed she was with him... I almost fell over when i realized that it was her. We had beautiful weather and clear roads - great way to kick off a new year.

I got 49.7mpg - that's pretty awesome
