Merry Christmas indeed!

It was a memorable Christmas eve surrounded by tons of family;kids, grandkids, daughter in laws, sons in laws. Prime rib cooked prefectly, home made bread and rolls, mashed and au jous gravy, mashed butternut squash and then the opening of the presents. Which someone gave me an IPAD II...wow! Now how does it work, lol.

Each year at this time we reflect back on the year that was, that we made it and look with hope for the new year to come. With that said I wish and I pray for us all to overcome each hurdle the new year brings with the grace and aplomb of a gazelle. To scoff with sympathy at all the jealous haters and people whose glass is always half empty instead of half full. Health and happiness by the truck load. And most importantly the blessing of our Lord and Saviour who inspires us to lead with compassion, love and understanding and the wisdow to know when to apply each.

To expect to be perfect is unreasonable, to strive for perfection is reasonable.

Great post BI. Merry Christmas to all.

My wife decided to have a Cajun Christmas this year, gumbo is the only thing we'll be eating that I know how to spell.
Hope you all have a great day and someone to spend it with.

A belated Merry Christmas to you guys. We spent our Chirstmas in Gulf Shores Alabama about a mile from Fort Morgan. It was a ghost town and we loved it. No shootings, ambalances,

I hope all of you had a blessed Christmas.

Time is moving way too fast. :icon_eek:
