Our first snow of the year!

Storm started Thursday with rain in the morning then turning to sleet. I worked till 1:30 in it, then made my one hour trek home wet and cold.
I don't no when the snow started to fall, I couldn't see out the windows from under my blanket's.
When I got up at 4:30 Friday morning we had about 5 inch's on the ground and by noon it was a foot deep. Saturday and Sunday's forecast. MORE SNOW.

Keep warm - I remember when...
I had to put the heat on last night for the first time this season. It's been raining a little lately. But the weather here can't be beat for construction or riding.

They just built 54 brand new homes around the corner from my house. The site was the last strawberry field in the area. Progress - The up side - plenty of room for you guys!! :icon_laughing:

We have had snow on the ground here in Missouri for the last week. I hate winter more every year. Let's all move in with RK!

I'd move there with you but I think I still have more riding day's than you here where I'm at. Still I hope we don't get snowed in, here in Phoenix like we did last year. Still the worst 6 hours of my life.

It's probably really close - but - the snow belt, that's a whole other story.

Anything over 300 days is allot of riding days and I know we're both well over that. That why I'm dug in here like a Tennessee tick. :icon_You_Rock:

speaking of ticks - the only time I have ever seen ticks on a dog was in Phoenix - We spent a few hours removing them and bathing that dog.
The weather out by you is pretty extreme - I can remember during a few visits out there - flash thunder storms - flash floods - wind/sand storms... summer heat well into the 110+ at night.
I really like it out here by me - just too many people but that's seems to be the same story everywhere.

You can always come out this way in the summer for a cool down. The beach air is usually 15-20 degrees cooler than inland.
