If you're going to store your bike - you'll probably need to keep the battery on a tender. I've also heard that you should keep a piece of cardboard under the tires so they don't oxidize from the ground contact or get a flat spot. Don't know if it's all true but when I wasn't able to ride regularly, I used to keep my bike on a tender - one over night charge once a week kept the battery fresh.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....

My dealership recommends it be on the tender all the time out here. With the dry heat in the summer out here they say it will lengthen the life of the battery.

It can't hurt to keep it on the tender - it will always have a full charge.

I'm sold on Sea Foam, I use it a lot. I also keep the battery on a tender.

I spent most of my money on women, whiskey, and motorcycles. The rest, I just wasted.
