I found my ride!!

The time will come - and when it does this is what I'm going to be scooting around on.

I saw it at the Long Beach Motorcycle Show - I really wanted to sit on it.

Hey RK I was at the show. I found something I wanted to sit on at the show too! When I can't ride any longer I'm going to hold onto this.

Now I know why your eyes are always popping out like that... :icon_laughing:

Hey Eddie - not all trikes are created equal

I got caught behind a trike recently - with in the last month or so - and that sucker was doing pretty good. He was cornering flat and fast - he also had a trick rear end that was as wide as a car - these are my favorite twisties - down hill and fast. This guy was doing 55 on most of the turns - for comparison I go slightly faster but for a trike he was going great.

My version will be 2 wheels up front configuration with the biggest baddest engine I can stuff in the frame and a monster tire in the back. Some really flowing/aero dynamic body work and a dome /p51 style cockpit windshield. If it doesn't do 200+ I did something wrong. Also anytime my heart seems like it might need a "kick start" I'll go for a ride in it!! :icon_clap:

You can have it cheap.

I road with a guy who had a two wheel up front configuration one day. It was a pretty nice bike. I'll have to admit.

The new Can-Am Spyder has a bigger engine and a six speed now in case you are interested. They just don't sound like a Harley no matter what you do to them though. My wife wants me to get one. I'm hoping Indian pops a trike out myself. Would love an Indian and a trike with that big engine would be great. I really don't want to have to convert something myself. To much finger pointing when there is a problem.

There are way too many options available these days to have to do one yourself. By the time you're done it costs twice as much as buying a manufactured product.

I love the way my bike sounds - and when the day comes I can't ride it anymore - and the choice is being in the wind with some very cool technology - sound system, gps, communications etc... I might not be so set on how the engine sounds anymore. I think the new 3 wheelers with the 2 front wheels are the way to go. They seem to ride very stable and the ones I've seen were pretty cool. It's a great platform to modify.

I may have found something fun and motorcycle oriented enough to keep me in trouble until I can't keep it between the lines any more....

This this looks to be a blast and maybe even a cross country ride... going to see one in person first. I don't fit very well into small places anymore :icon_laughing:
