Recently heard this story.a guy recently moved to/Yorkshire and got a job the other side of the notorious Snake pass.he set off to work on his first day and it was cold and overcast.he had an old bike and on leaving work it was snowing.he reached snake pass, it was dark snow getting heavier, and his bike stalled.he heard abike coming and a guy on a Harley pulled over.he got off the red Harley and offered help,he soon had the old BMW running wished the rider a safe journey and rode off into the night.the guy on the BMW set off and a few miles down the road pulled into a gas station.while filling up he saw a wrecked red Harley in the corner.he told the attendant the guy on that Harley just fixed my bike.the attendant said that Will be terry he was always helping someone he died in an accident a couple of months ago and his funeral was this afternoon. Ride safe guys. Bikerod

Yeah - I read a story like that about a guy out this way. He was in the desert and almost the same ending. I take it - we're all brothers in the wind - you help when you can.

I've heard a version of this story on every type of vehicle you can imagine...

There's one version about a guy on a bicycle along a stretch of road we used to ride on.

One about a guy on a hike - various cars - some are women others kids...

I have had my own personal experiences with this type of thing - I'm a believer...

I've heard voices inside my own head - telling me to be alert/careful - only to have something come at me a second later. Anyone that spends enough time on the road will eventually encounter something. Let's hope it's not Large Marge with no brakes!! :icon_eek:
