I don't know the Buell web sight is still up and we have a dealer right here in town advertising the new Buells.

October 2009 Harley shut down Buell motorcycles. Erik Buell then started up Erik Buell racing motorcycles. I might be wrong on the motors used but I believe they are Rotax motors, but has nothing to do with HD. The Buell motors that are drag raced in NHRA pro stock are G2 motors which are like nothing before, the G "square" motors are a combination of George Brice and George Smith. George Brice is the owner of Star Racing and George Smith is S&S cycle. They are the baddest pro stock motor out there and we all can buy one as long as you have the money, not like the vrod of Vance and Hines that you can't buy. Could be the dealer near you is selling the Erik Buell racing motorcycles and I doubt they are a HD dealership.
