I have a 2003 heritage and have acquired a set of tins and wheels from an 08 fatboy. The front fender and tank fit my problem is will a swingarm that will take the 200mm tyre off a 2008 fit my frame. Can anyone help?.

Basically no, you have to bore out your transmission case to accept the larger swingarm shaft. Someone might make a kit to retrofit the swingarm. I was going to do that but at that time there was nothing available and I would not bore out the tranny case.

sorry my entire answer is wrong, I was thinking a normal swingarm, not the softail type . Sorry DEERSLAYER

If you have both swing arms in front of you.. you can take some measurements to see if they match up.

Also you can do some research to see if the swing arms were changed during the years in between.


You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
