I bought a manual the same day I bought the Bike.A never been perfect yet but still working at it.
But all my Bikes are turn key, licensed & Ins. I still ride them all,Oh I have manuals for them too!
But thanks for the Info.
I bought my bike in 1994 - In 1995 I needed a new back tire - I had the dealer put it on - long story short they damaged the bike and refused to repair it - I bought the shop manual and the bike has never been back to a shop since. I just made all the repairs myself after a tappet roller bearing failure - would have been at a disadvantage without that manual. You'd be surprised how many people don't even know what a shop manual is.
Great to have you as part of the forum!!
Unless one has an inside friend/contact I am finding the dealerships flat out sh*tty, rude and out to screw the rider at every corner..wow. All 3 dealerships in my radius suck. I'm not adding a GPS or XM to my bike because I don't know they can install it properly or if it doesn't work that they'll stick with it until its right. I went in the other day just to see what I would need for parts/prices and I had done some investigating prior. Good thing because they were adding things I no way needed so I was like...never mind, lol.
While I really like XM I'll bring CD's and a map has always worked just fine although the GPS is awsome. Have one on my truck and it is the the sh*t.
