Yeah - it was foggy... and that was because I was out past 3am the night before. Wicked awesome Halloween party, I was DD so I did my couple of drinks early. On latest tally there were 300 people in costume there. I went as a "Biker"
I did a quick last minute check on the weather that morning, beaches were socked in. Our original route was to take us south on PCH - Pacific Coast Highway, There are some amazing views, the ocean is off to the right. Based on the fog from the drive home the night before, I wasn't going to let us ride though it that morning. We took the freeway the inland route, and still it was that bad... I can't even imagine what the coast was?!?
Here's a lesson I learned that morning, As we went through the fog my clear visor got so spotted up that I couldn't see through it. I put it up - so then my sunglasses got spotted up. I was having a bad time!! I turned to check the lane next to me and the side ways angle of my head let the wind blow the water off my glasses - so I did it in the other direction and that cleaned off the other side - never knew that before... I told Weljo and he said oh yeah I knew that - I guess I've been a fair weather rider for too long!!
