test road one twice on 2 dfferent days...wasn't really tempted. It is nice. Go look at one but remember to look right behind the passenger seat..on the top of the fender is an exposed good amount of wiring harness and connectors...not feeling that.

+1

The new latches are nice. What did you think of the infotainment center?

The new infotainment system is a nice feature. I would like to see it made available for my 2008.
I'd like to have the larger gauges as well, my eye sight has diminished over the years and riding with bifocals is a pain in the arse.

Speaking of audio systems. I just put J&L audio 7 1/4 speakers in my fairing and they sound phenomenal.

I read a review on the navagation system and it sounded like it isn't up the snuff with the current standards. I don't remember all of it, but it had to do with the number of waypoints and the cross compatability. There is room for improvement... which I would wait for them to refine it a bit before I made a change.

With todays technology, you should be able to plug your cell into a power source and bluetooth it with the infortainment system and have the full funtionality of that phone with the bike... which is essentilly a computer.

I like that idea - plug your phone it and use it's gps and music... give them time - they'll get something like that done.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....

That and like you say I think its common sense to wait a few years in a model change for the bugs to be worked out.
