It was a enjoyable ride. Left at 8am got home about 2:45P.M. Me and my friend Matt met DS at exit 2, I-91 south at the Chelsea Royal Diner and we all got there about the same time. We'd no sooner parked and hadn't even taken our gear off and DS rode up. We went in to the diner me and Matt had breakfast and DS sipped coffee.

Afterwards we headed out down 9 west thru Wilmington,VT to rt 8 and hit the twisties hard.

While on rt 9 west we parked on Hogback mountain where a gagle of model T fords were parked. We checked them out and talked to the powners a smidge. Beautiful beautiful cars.

When we finally hit RT 8 the speed limit said 35-40 we did 65-75. Ole DS can ride! Rt 8 connects on to the Mohawk trail and back down to I-91. Just prior to getting on I-91 DS pulled into a small but comfortable coffe shop/restaurant and had a lite lunch:

While there we met a couple touring from England in the rental car and DS, being the ever shy spokesperson, struck up a lengthy conversation. It was a nice ending for the ride. Once back on the road we all hit I-91 north. DS got off on exit 3 and onto RT2 east and me and my friend Matt continued up to I-91 north to home.

It was about 213 miles for me.

Thanks DS

I'll post the photos in a couple days. Need to get them on a disk.

I had never been on 8the before, nice road just to short, once you reach 100 it straightens out and the hills go away. It was a fun ride good meeting Matt, thanks for inviting me.
