Anyone ever tried one of these gadgets on their touring bikes for bluetooth capabilities?

I just got a new blue tooth speaker works pretty good but it's not a Motorcycle specific device. I have music on my phone that it plays.

I contacted the Kinivo company and asked about the application of the bluetooth device for Harley Davidson motorcycles with audio systems. According to the reply, this gadget plugs into the cigarette lighter and has a cord that plugs into the auxillary jack on the audio system. A small button/microphone is stuck somewhere convenient on the dash for hands-free operation of your phone for calls or music. Currently, I use a magnetic phone cover that sits on the tank and use a cord to connect the phone to the audio system for playing my favorite tunes.

Santa is supposed to bring me one for Christmas, so I will let you know how it works.

Santa did bring me the Kinivo bluetooth device, but due to shoulder surgery, I hadn't tried it out yet. This past weekend we actually had some warm weather here in Missouri, so I decided it was time to see how this little gizmo worked. Installation was relatively simple with the power plug going in the cigarette lighter hole and plugging the other end into the Aux hole on the front console. After some consideration, I used the included sticky pad to mount the control button over the two blank buttons opposite the cruise and accessory buttons. My phone paired up quickly with the device and I now have bluetooth capabilities on my 2011 Street Glide. I then rolled up the excessive black wire and taped it in the fairing. This will allow me to listen to music from my phone without using the patch cord and I will also be able to answer a phone call with a tap on the control button. The control button also has a feature for allowing you to skip forward or back on your music playlist.

Oh, and by the way, it snowed here on Monday afternoon.
