Just had an iPod inerface installed on my 2006 Electraglide Custom and while riding noticed the volume level for the iPod was about 60%of what the radio or CD is at same settings. Is anyone aware of a input volume adjustment and how to reset it? Dealership who installed it was little help as tech "did not own an iPod"....

Thanks for any help in advance.

Yeah - same thing in my GF's car - you have to turn the volume up on the Ipod.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.

Quick question for you. Is the iPod interface the same thing as connecting via bluetooth? Currently I have to run a cord between my iphone/iPod and the audio system on my Street Glide.

Hey twoiron72,
The only reason I'm answering this is I think the OP asked his one question and has little use for us anymore - I hope I'm wrong - but I've seen the "1" posters here for years... too bad though.
Anyway - I don't think the system is a "blue tooth" it is most likely the wired one you have, that's what I've seen on bikes around here - hope it helps.

Thanks RK! New cars are utilizing bluetooth technology for wireless connection. Just curious if bluetooth is an available option for the touring bikes.

That is a good question - I can only suggest you take a spin down to the local HD dealership and ask. From what I've seen on the bikes my friends ride and those I see in my locale - the wire is it. Thats not to say it isn't available I just haven't seen it YET.

Sorry for the delay response.. Not using Blue Tooth, not sure if that is an available option. What I have is the HD 30 iPod interface that works with the factory Radio. Ordered it through HD and had them install. Thinking it may be setting on the iPod or radio. Local HD not very up on this setup and offering little help. Also I am using the iPod they, HD iPod interface users guide, recomend.

I can tell you all that it works pretty well - I got a chance to try it out - Although, my beach ball head just barely fit inside his helmet. He looks pretty cool with all those gadgets hanging off the helmet - the Cops are even jealous!! :icon_laughing:
