Have a acquaitence with a '98 that just committed to the HD motor reman program because he loves his bike so much. The dealer removes,crates up and sends off the motor to HD MOCO. You may not get your original cases back but the numbers will match.

Tunes opened up a whole new vista of 2 wheeled enjoyment for me. I'd never given it a second thought either until I had the added feature. Imagine hitting Wolf Creek Pass the same time Chicken Fried by the Zach Brown band comes on. Or listening to the Patriots game while riding thru the Mojave desert. Or listening to Jimmy BUffet tunes while perusing Key West.

In other words blast your favorite tunes while 2 wheeling thru some memorable landscape. Sorta like when weljo plays music to accompany his video footage but instead its in real time. Its kinda surreal.

Don't discount it till you try it.

I didn't think much about the radio when buying the bike, but I sure enjoy it. Thinking about adding the rear speakers. Guess I should have bought the Ultra.

Love my radio. I don't listen to it every time I ride but it's a nice feature to have.

I guess it goes back to my childhood... I grew up with cars that had factory AM radios and 1 speaker in the dash board. BUT they had motors that made horsepower and a great sound. My big brother let me drive all his cars since I'm 14 years old - these weren't ordinary cars either - fuel injected stingrays, Shelby mustang cobras, MGs, Triumphs, super sports, ALL had motors that any gear head would love. I grew up to that sound track - so listening to the engine on my bike is just a NO-Brainer for me. It lulls me into a trance - I relax - I can't tell you how much I love to just hear that motor and feel the wind and ride that long lonely highway...
