She reminds me of those people who cause the incident/accident that causes harm to others yet come out unscathed themselves. Dangerous.

Oh no, she'll just get herself into trouble - most of the other riders do OK. She's way too cocky for her own good. The worst part of riding with this group is the way they won't address any problems for fear of hurting anyone's feelings - which is too bad - because in the end - feelings heal faster than broken bones (or worse).

Here's some footage that is unlisted. The only way you can see it is to have the link.

1)Nice bike. GW is the #1 touring rig. While you will see more Eglides on the road then any other bike the GW is #1 touring rig for near 20 years.

2)If thats an isolated incident that one thing because sh*t happens to all of us, if its chronic thats another. She putting herself and others at risk. Causing major/minor cluster f*ck.

3)She def looks like she's tall enough for the bike. She doesn't look like she's learning as she goes. In other words if after 20-30,000 miles she hasn't acclimated or figured out the logistics of certain "tricky" an potentially hazarous manuevers then I don't know.

I wouldn't ignore it or pretend its going away.

It is a really nice bike - but she can't manage it because it is so friggin big!! She's a foot dragger and that just shows me she's not confident enough to ride it correctly. Until she either invests the time and effort in learning how to ride it correctly/confidently she is a danger to herself. We give her plenty of room and try not to get in her way...
As for having an adult conversation with her about her lack of ability - the organizers blow sunshine up her skirt telling her how good she is - so - it's hard to get her tuned into reality.
I've tried - when I first signed up in the group to address this and other issues with the organizers but they are really not willing or able to understand the concept of confronting it.
Truth - I"m just happy to have been lucky enough to meet a few really good people and enjoy their company - I've stopped trying to fix anything.
