It wasn't bad we weren't there when the sun went down and it was the first Sunday of the rally, traffic was not that bad, you could walk around at the broken spoke, actually I guess most would say nice. it really starts to rock about Weds or Thursday, might go up next weekend but The Collings Foundation will be breaking out there car collection and driving them around. I have only seen them inside their buildings.

Heading out thursday rain or shine for the day/evening. Parkings always a little tricky and in some places 10$. One home owners turns his front and back yard into 10$ motorcycle parking just up the road from Weirs Beach. I bet over the week he gets near 10,000$+, thats only 1000 bikes at 10$ a piece coming and going over a 9 day period 24/7..doable.

I always park at he beach, I have never paid to park at bike week. There are always people pulling out. My Nephews said they are riding over from Danby today then leaving on wed. back to their homes. Yesterday they said they wanted to do Crawford Notch again today. At least they learned the good roads right away, most riders never get past the kangamangus. DEERSLAYER

I only went the one time, but we parked over by the beach also. Just as we pulled up 2 other bikes pulled out and we were in. We had perfect weather sunny & mild. The ladies were fine. I'm digging through some old pics of the trip but haven't come up with those yet...

I rode up some of the roads/towns you mentioned, beautiful stuff. We have some similar roads out this way but way more traffic/people. You guys have a great time/ ride safe.

DS - good pic of the bikes!!
