Eat Desert First

I had a very good friend - one of the many lessons he taught me was - "Eat Desert First".

It was more of a metaphor for life than advise on the order of how a meal should be consumed. Take the vacations, spend time with those you love, don't be in such a hurry, work/chores will always be there - take time to enjoy the sweeter things in life.

I have lots of great memories of the time I got to share with him. He was like a brother to me.

Remember - let the people in your life know you appreciate them... Eat Desert First!!

He will be missed - He was the reason I was planning the trip back to NY this year.
He was wise, If you guys get anything out of his advise - then I did right by him.
