KoolBak Belts

Quote:
A short while ago my friend (Weljo) noticed me making some funny faces as I got off my bike at a lunch stop. He knew that face was me masking my aching back. I'm not one to complain about my aches and pains, no one likes a whiner... He told me about a support belt he had at home, he'd let me try it out on the next ride.

A week later, and my back was really bothering me. (I hurt my back when I was 18, fractured vertebra at the base of my spine. I've had a problem with my lower back ever since.) He showed up and gave me his back belt to try out. We are about the same waist size and basic build, the belt has a 6" adjustment range, so it fit me well. As soon as I put that belt on, my back instantly started to feel better. I couldn't believe it, but it really took the pain away. "Wow" was all I could say. I rode with the belt for that day, bumps that normally send me into a cringe were minimized and I finished the day without a back ache, something I haven't had happen in years.

I was amazed at the simplicity of this belt - just a well made piece of gear. I ordered one that next day. The companies website is fairly straight forward, motorcycle support belt page shows a guy wearing the exact belt I used so I ordered one and left it at that. For some reason I went back to look at something and read the small print about which belt I was going to get - it wasn't the one I wanted so I gave them a call. Spoke to the owner of the company - he made it all right and within a week I had my very own KoolBak Belt. I use this belt on every ride now, my back is feeling like 20 years ago - yes I still have a small ache but this belt is worth it's weight in gold to me. I really believe that if it can help me this much than it might help some one else and I am happy to give my testimonial to help my fellow motorcyclist friends.

The quality of this product is EXCELLENT.
They use heavy duty components, and the craftsmanship is of a very high caliber.
Best part - Made in the USA!!

Excerpt taken from the KoolBak website:

"KoolBak Belts use a patented design consisting of multiple layers of breathable, coated, reinforced mesh with compression technology that is strong, cool (both in looks and temperature ☺), washable, durable, and comfortable and greatly relieves back pain without slipping or rolling."

This is all true, the belt does not roll up, a problem I've had with other belts I've used over the years. It doesn't slip - it has a great big wide closure that works great. It definitely reduced my back pain - something that really works.

Wearing it under my pants seems to work the best for me. I use a base layer tee-shirt, then the belt, then I put my pants on over it. I wear my regular shirt over that and no one is the wiser that I'm even wearing any support gear. Even on the warm days it works great.

I'd highly recommend this product to every rider out there. IF you don't have a back problem - wearing this might keep you from getting one.

As a matter of fact I got a second belt for work - the narrower design allows me to bend over and still giving me the base support that I need while walking around.

Yours Truly,
RoadKing
