Here's something I just read in an article about AZ's Governor Jan Brewer.
Titled "Jan Brewer denies deferred action recipients drivers’ licenses"

"Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer had released a strongly-worded executive order preventing deferred action recipients from obtaining drivers' licenses or any other unspecified "public benefits" in her state, renewing her public spat with the White House over illegal immigration."

Goes on to say "Brewer writes in the order that as many as 80,000 young people in Arizona could benefit from the new status, which gives young illegal immigrants under age 31 who came to the country as children relief from deportation and a two-year work permit. Brewer notes that the deferred action status does not make its recipients legal immigrants per se; it's more a limbo state where the immigrants are now not deportable and legally able to work but are not progressing towards a green card or other permanent legal status."

On Yahoo, there is a comment section at the bottom of the page. Here are few of the comments I got from there:

The First comment:
"i have been trying to get my wife here for 2 years from china. its a long process and i must prove i can support her. even after i get her her i am responsible for her support and she CANNOT receive any government handouts. NO support from the government!. or the government holds me responsible. it would be wonderful if she could WALK across the border and get free stuff.. but she can't! i don't blame any states or the government or the taxpayers for not wanting to support another person here. All of our ancestors paid a price to come here legally.. and so will my wife.."

From there the thread went in this direction.

-A driver's license is not a handout.

-it is also NOT something anyone is entitled to. It is a privilege, not a right. It is also something no one here illegally should have. So, I respectfully disgaree with you. If a person who is here illegally has done NOTHING but apply for a license, then it IS a handout. You have to EARN things in life, not have them given to you. A concept perhaps you should familiarize yourself with.

-Wish you luck. Just tell the authorities that you intend on living off food stamps, collect unemployment, refuse to speak English, go to UNION rallies, wear Obama and Che t-shirts. You wish is to become a long-life Democrat voting body, blame everything bad on conservatives and Bush and you are in like flint. You may even head a regional office for the now defunct ACORN.

-Yeah know I had to work hard for my license!!! Hell I had to work hard to get my job, and work even harder to keep it! How is it fair that someone from another country can come in here ILLEGALLY and still be able to get stuff given to them

-When did the definition of "illegal" change?
-i believe it was November, 2008

-If an illegal alien has a drivers license and no insurance and causes an accident, hops back across the border, Who pays? Who"s premiums goes up? And if he is hurt who pays the hospital bill?
-Person who is injured in the accident pays. Not the illegal or taxpayers. That is why I keep very high uninsured policy in AZ

-They are not illegals, they are undocumented Democrats!

Well you get the drift...

I have to say that I've lived in CA for over 25 years now. It has gotten less "American" every year. With the CA "Dream Act" being passed tax payers money is being spent to college/university educate the same people. My friends kids didn't get these privileges. My friend pays mega taxes-his kids paid full tuition. I find it hard to understand the logic other than pandering for votes.

I just hope that the majority of dumb sH!ts stay home this November.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
