This happens every year! Everyone is trying to complete all their mods before spring and haven't gotten their bikes back together yet! Hell I haven't had time to start mine! just completed (contractor did anyway) a remodel job from hell! Been going on since first of Septmeber! May have been easier and less stressful to build!

This is one of the reasons I did alll of the work slowly. My bigger bike is fully customized and took almost five years to complete. For many reasons.

Clearly, one of the reasons was money. I wasn't going to buy parts and schedule work willy-nilly out of fashion or the latest-greatest. I had the 95-inch kit installed before I took delivery in 2004 because the engine had to be broken-in sometime, and that year they had a winter chrome sale. No other mods were done that year. I rode the bike that season and made mental notes.

After a thorough break-in, we started the engine mods (like cams, lifters and pushrods), and we could get Betty on the dyno. The front end came the third year, and more cosmetic stuff and the entire rear-end after that.

I stress research, and building a bike for you, not for the geeks who love SOA. For example, I live in Wisconsin, but built a Frisco style custom. Reason being, lousy roads and insane city streets in Madison, similar to San Francisco. I get better service from the bike rather than just pulling off and then replacing parts to mimic a fad.

MyRide7, does this product have an on/off switch or a rheostat where the lights could be shut off or dimmed?

Tell you why. I had a 1969 Honda CB750 with huge gauges. Not usually a problem on our dark back roads. However, sometimes these gauges were in your line of sight and quite annoying.

I have factory rheostats in my four wheel vehicles, and sometimes I need to both crank them up or turn them down depending on the circumstances.

The lights look great.

No the leds in the LG gauges are direct replacements. So since the factory has no "dimmer" switch then will will not dim. Rhea are actually more pleasing to the eyes especially the blue and or red. They just appear brighter in pics which don't do the mod justice.
