I'm from The "OC" Orange County, California. South of Los Angles 30 or so miles.
I'm between Disney Land, Angles Stadium and The Beach, 6 miles in either direction.
The closest dealership is 10 miles or so but I go to the one 20 miles away...
My favorite ride is with anyone of my brothers at my side, anywhere any time.
You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.

I am in St. Louis MO and one of my favorate rides is along the "river Road" just north of Alton Il. it is about 30 - 40 miles of beautiful 4 lane that is between the very high rock bluffs and the Mississippi river. Really a beautiful ride at about sunset.
I really like the ride over to that ugly girls house at about 1am, but i think your are talking about something else...

Back in NY, during the summer I'd take the old lady out for a ride...
I don't know what I used to look forward to more the ride to the cornfield or the ride in the cornfield...

Part of the weekly loop, love those twistys with sheer drop offs. Lots of fun on bike make you car sick in a car.
