I hope this finds everyone staying healthy. For my family and I personally, My wife, myself and my two sons and my oldest's wife, we all have what are called essential jobs so we are not allowed to stop working unless we actually get Covid-19 or corona. This puts us face to face with the public every day. Now for my family members, they have been give extra hazard pay and bonuses and extra sick pay just in case heaven forbid something should happen. My employer on the other hand is showing us no quarter. If something should happen we've been given a letter stating in not so many words that it will be on our own dime. But on the other hand I do get payed pretty well so it's not to bad I guess. Anyway we think I already had Corona back in early Feburary but the doctor miss diagnost it and didn't send me to the haspital (I thought I was going to die because I was really sick) so my doctor wants me to come back in for an anti-body test and give some blood to help with the vaccine efford. Damn vampires! Probably going to go in next week.

We did plan a vacation this week to San Diego this wek, there is a little Latino Rock band that reformed into another band we know out of LA that was going to debut at the Holding Co. this week and they invited us to come out and hang with them but the quarantine killed that so I'm staying home any way. Changed the seals on my front forks and working on my breaks on my truck and bike also started work on converting my barn into a work shop and music studio.

Doing some home improvements, yard work, clutter sorting and the busy work I never have time for. Not that I have work off, just all the errands and running around not essential stuff that we have to stay home from. Lucky I was brought up by an old school vet. we were always prepared for anything. I do my best to keep it that way. Never had to go to the store and fight for supplies, always well stocked food and dry goods, plenty of dry ammo.
Local report: most of the grocery/big box stores were barren when I finally poked my nose out cause I needed some fresh milk. That was March 8.
I have since gone 2 times to the Sam's club for meat seems I can buy with all the limits about 2 weeks of a variety of foods and still eat healthy while we wait this thing out.
Standard OPs:
I mixed a gallon jug of disinfectant bleach and water solution I carry in the trunk of the car.
I park on the outer edge of the parking lot away from all the other cars.
I keep the interior of the car clean/sterile.
I get out of the car, put on my rubber gloves, pop the trunk.
Go get a cart, bring it back to the car, wash it down with bleach water - all handles and surfaces I touch or might touch
Stow the supplies in the trunk.
Shopping is keeping distance from others, not breathing their air.
I get what I need and get out quick as I can. Less exposure is less chance of getting anything.
back to the car.
pop the trunk, grab the hand sanitizer -
first my hands, then the keys, anything I touched gets a wipe down with either the bleach for surfaces that don't get hurt by bleach or the hand sanitizer. Once I know I have clean hands I pop the car open load groceries, do another hand wash before I touch the steering wheel to leave.
Once home, park the car, go inside and wash my hands in the sink, then my face and do a real good job with the soap.
Park my outer jacket, hat, glasses, mask now mandatory.
wash again just incase something was on my clothes? who the f knows?
I do know this:
It is a shit load easier being NOT sick and doing all I can to not get or give it, then getting it, giving it to my family and friends and worse.

Be safe, go figure - times have changed.... Its safer to ride a motorcycle than go to the store for food. :icon_eek:

I Hope All are Well and Safe, Happy Holidays: Passover and Easter!!

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.

Hey BI, RK. You know, My problem with all this is that I only personaly know one person whose had the corona and only have heard of one other person. this comes from asking literaly 100's of people a day. Now I've had the corona back in early feb and carry the anti-bodys, so that actually makes it 3 people for me counting myself. on the other hand I personaly know 100's of poeple who's had the flu.. Why isn't the flu considered a pandemic? Also the only people I see wearing masks (now I'm not saying thats a bad thing) and freeking out the most, are those who are actually part of the quarantine and aren't getting exposed. My family and I have essential jobs so we are forced to be in it every day. I personly don't wear one. Another thing People are just getting angery and mean and just not thinking things out. I actually was forced to unholster my gun last night to warn these idiots off of us. Fortunately when they saw the gun, they came to their sences and backed off and left us alone. I'st bad enough that my family and I have to be out in this every day untill 11pm but to have to put up with stupid people is beyond me. Now they extended the quarantine in our state for another 2 weeks. In my veiw point it's time to open the country back up and lets get on with it.

That's scary when people are aggressive just because you're not wearing a mask. I don't wear one either outside of work anyways. I went to the grocery store and everyone but me was wearing a mask. It just seems ridiculous. H1N1 was bad. Flu's, colds and pneumonia in general tend to kill the elderly, no surprises there.

I too am a little suspicious of the extreme that is being imposed. And how inaccurate the C19 death reporting has been. If someone died in a car wreck, tested positive for C19 they say its a C19 related death. No its not.

Exercising common sense is in order ,sure. But tanking the economy is ridiculous. You can believe the government wont forget how ez it was to bamboozle the American populace....
