How you holding up in this terrible storm that's coming through.

Hey Eddie,
so far the 60+ mile per hour winds only did minor damage to the roof, caused a small leak and some minor water damage to the ceilings. Other than that all is ok so far.
We've been getting some real rain, after so many years of very little rain it is a nice change. The air quality is much better. The fruit trees are really showing some appreciation for all the water.
4 inches in one day was the record so far, we've been getting regular rain almost once a week. 2 inches over this past weekend and more on the way later this week... or just a normal week any where else.
Seems some of the storms that come through here are on their way to your neck of the woods - so I hope you and yours are doing well with all this weather also.
So, last year they raised the water rates we pay for our city water. Then put some restrictions in place, what days you can water, how much you get to use before they site you for excess usage and such... I was joking with the neighbors about how long it's going to take them to un-do the price increase... but then we realized that here in CA the prices NEVER go down. So now we get to "pay" for the up grades on the failing dams and the bullet train to no where :icon_rip:
Keep safe & dry till spring!!

We had some pretty good winds and it rained pretty steady for about 3 day's but it didn't cause any damage. We've had much worse. The fact that we've been in a drought condition for about 10 years we really needed a late monsoon rain and mountain snow fall like this.

Sometimes our sunsets don't seem real. This photo didn't do the sunset justice.

Today is 76 F here, tomorrow is going to be a little warmer - might even make it into the 80's :icon_whee:
I'm thinking of all you guys in the cold... and ROTFLMAO - I've been here 30+ years now - the "Endless Summer" The Beach Boys had it right!!

Yeah if it wasn't for the knuckleheads up in Sacramento - state capitol, Gov Moonbeam Brown - not taking care of the dams and infrastructure, we'd all be enjoying the rain like we were supposed to.

They're too busy making sure we have the train to nowhere... but hey we'll get there faster!!

Eddie I know just what you're saying - I've been doing photography for many years and sometimes being there can't be duplicated - we get those sunsets over the ocean sometimes and it's a true thing of beauty!!
