Hey Rod,

I'm glad you're enjoying life and getting some good weather.

I hate to admit it, but yesterday at 105 it was just
too damn hot at 5pm. So I stayed in
and watched my 3rd movie for the day.

But I DID go out the day before in 104 heat
to go for a nice ride.

I didn't go to Sturgis this year Rod but I am sure that you would of loved it. It was the biggest turnout yet over 1 million bikes at least that is what I heard!
Hope everyone is enjoying the summer!

"2015" has been the "year from hell" for a number of folks, and I'm one of them.

That said, it is ALSO the year that I bought my first HD, after 20 years on a Metric bike. So "2015" is bitter sweet.

We are now (here in New England) coming into my most favorite time of year, with Harvest Suppers, Fairs, Fried Dough, and the beautiful colors of the deciduous trees. Lots of good riding time left!!

Rod,
Thanks for the good vibes Brother!! :icon_hat:

Summer as always goes by far too fast. Next weekend is the unofficial end with Labor Day here in the States. Been a fun time tho, got to do some of the things that I wanted, which is more than most, so no complaints. Work mostly but some fun time too. I know the Autumn brings cold and rain/snow for most and the onset of winter. Here in the desert south west, the Autumn is my season. Days still long enough to get things done after work. Temperatures in more comfortable range and roads with less traffic than the Summer months. I tend to enjoy the fall more than summer out here. When I was back in Upstate New York, the harvest season brought out the apple picking and country rides to enjoy the changing colors in the leaves. Here everything is brown and dead by fall, no apples either... We do have unpresidented dry days and great roads tho so not all is lost.

Hope you all have some nice rides left, and you get to enjoy them.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....

I love the autumn, all the golds and browns and if its dry I can get to ride through the quiet country lanes when its just me and my bike,it can't get better.
Saddest part is its all over so quickly, the nights rapidly close in and then its time to put the Harley away for the winter.I have enjoyed so much reading about the rides you guys have all been on and it has made me feel that I was riding with you ,how blest am I.I have been through the dark times and have come out to ride again. Thanx Rk, Lenny ,deerslayer and all you great guys on the forum ,I couldn't have made it without you all,and now I am all healed and up and running again. Well not running, but hey I will take walking any day.lots of winter nights ahead but lots of great memories to enjoy.still good days to come so make the most of them and above all be safe and enjoy. Thanx guys. Rod
