I would like to wish the forum members a "Happy Thanksgiving" and our friends from across the pond (Rod) well wishes too. Its this time of the year that makes me feel really good. I remember when I was a kid at Thanksgiving when mom was cooking and there was a warmth and calmness in the house no matter what was going on the day before. Thanksgiving has always been one of my favorite holidays. Man am I getting hungry!

Hope that its great for everyone! :icon_hat:

Lenny

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving is a happy and enjoyable one.

The annoying relatives were stuck in a snow storm and couldn't make it. :icon_laughing:

Turkey - Gone : check
Soup - Gone : check

I got invited to the best dinner out there... someone else is cooking :icon_laughing:

I'm still cleaning up after the chestnuts exploded in the oven -
Shop vac for the big pieces.
Scrub brush for the smaller ones.
Hit the self cleaning lever for the rest... wipe out the ashes the next day.

My friend's wife makes both, turkey and ham. Plus half a dozen side dishes each a diner in itself. Pies and all the cookies santa sees in a night. I keep thanking him for marrying her... She's quite a woman!! I guess I'm a friend with benefits :icon_winking:

Thanksgiving was really nice this year. Had a really nice day - always goes by too fast. A few more weeks and it'll be next year.

You have someone you don't like - put one on the hot part of the engine and let it cook... what a mess!! :icon_laughing:
