Hi guys and ladies,

Just turned back the clocks, boy do I hate daylight savings time! :icon_rip: I feel like I have been ripped off for an hour. I guess for some people its good. Designed for the school kids so that they would be in more daylight. Starting to get a little cooler too. Actually it is better riding weather, can wear my leathers. Lucky in Socal there is no snow. What are your thoughts on this subject?

Shout out to Rod on the other side of the pond, do you guys turn back your clocks same as we do here in the states? Hope you are feeling better too.

What is the weather like in your neck of the woods?

Yeah - I work outdoors - loosing an hour of productivity a day works great for going out of business. When I was a kid, back in the 70's the gas shortage caused the one time experiment of not returning to Standard Time. We walked to school in the twilight and got to play an extra hour in the afternoon - was a good time!! - and it saved fuel and lighting... now the lights are on for an extra hour in the evenings??? Somebody is getting a bonus to keep this going. :icon_bang:

Just as an FYI - we turn the clocks ahead in the spring to take advantage of "Day Light Savings Time" - we return to "Standard Time" in the fall. As in Pacific Standard Time/ Pacific Day Light Savings Time

Arizona has it right - they keep Daylight Savings Time year round. :icon_hat:

Hey Rod,

From what I read - you guys (England) are the reason we have our present system... early British sailors used very accurate clocks to navigate. Thanks :icon_hat:

Hey RK I had an idea it was us Brits that were responsible for this clock changing fiasco, sorry about that, we tend to get wacky ideas often times,I think its called eccentricity .
