Took my son, his wife and all 5 grandkids on vacation. We based camped out of North Carolina and visited Busch Gardens, the NC Zoo and Lizard Lick towing. It was alot of work keeping everyone fed, clothes cleaned and safe but it was worth it. I got a little reward, well actually 2...I stopped in Fredericksburg,VA to look at some wolf hybrid pups and chose not to purchase any. It was a difficult decesion. I really wanted one but ultimately felt a pet, especially a high maitenance pet like a wolf hybrid would at this time cramp my style. And the 3 days and 2 nites we were in Asheboro,NC the Vietnam vets MC was holding a Officers rally/meeting at the same hotel so I got to hang out a smidge and get some cool merch. They had nice tee shirts w/ pockets, double sided dsign and only 15$ I wish I would have bought a couple more.

Good Stuff!! - Nice to see everyone smiling :icon_clap:

As for the pup - you made a wise decision. My big azzed dog is an anchor - but - worth it. He's 10 now - I have no plans on adopting again. Once I don't have to be home every 8 hours to care for him, I'll be headed back east for a visit.

Great pics! Glad to hear you had a good time with the family. Trips like that with young kids are always difficult but as you say worth it.

As written it was a difficult decisiona and still not sure I made the right one because I've always wanted a wolf hybrid(I have researched and understand the challenge) but I'm sticking by it. And the main reason was for the one you mentioned..they hamstring you from going anywheres unless you get a small enough one to fit in a motorcycle pet carrier.

I know my kids cannot afford to even go to the beach for the day so I enjoy watching them be happy with their kids and doing fun stuff.

Those old memories of the trips to the lake with the family and friends as kids keeps me going. The best things you gave them - loving memories!!

BI- after you settle down (The bucket list gets whittled down - AK is in the mirror) get the pup - you'll both be better for it. You can fit a horse in a motor home - Haha.

If living long enough thats sorta the plan. Right now large pets are a major wrench in the works.
