the question is what does a person do while waiting to get to 200,000 documented miles? Go to the Harley festival at Englishtown NJ and drag race the bike, by the time I get back to MA. I should have 199,700 miles, not bad for an old man on a 2000 flh, I figure it is a lot easier on the bike than deer hunting.

Extend your roundtrip by 300 miles, get drunk on some moonshine and see if moco will send you some free stuff.
I'd probably sell the bike to a dealer so they could put it on display. Then buy a bike with no miles and try it all again.
How many years did it take?

13 years it is a 2000 that was build on March 29 2000, after 3 passes at the track and the ride to get there and back home up to 199,675 miles, 333 miles to go for 200,000 for the hog miles, the bike had 8 miles when I took ownership on April 4 2000. Been a lot of fun miles

199k miles. That's a lot of tires. :icon_smoking:

It sounds like it's time to do the four corners or 50CC. Either of those would blow through that 200k barrier.

Hey DeerSlayer,
You'll have 200K on that bike probably before I even get mine up and running again!!

Start planning your trip to the west coast - for next summer - that will easily put plenty of miles on that bike - once you get out this way - you'll have your own personal tour guide - I'll take you all over!!
You might even consider riding out with BI - He might want to see the sights out here on his way to Alaska?!?
Just make sure you bring plenty of glue for your eyes - I plan on taking you on bikini patrol :icon_laughing:

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....

see what happens, I am thinking Sturgis then up to Glacier through the cascades to Seattle, then down along the coast over to Yosemite to see some friends thru Van Nuys to see more friends and probably big Bear, one friend has a house up there. then over to see you then down to san Diego then home through TX. Right now it is just a thought and a basic layout.
