I know people get very passionate when it comes to this point in the process.

PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING

This Thread

IS OPEN TO ALL DISCUSSION AND POINTS OF VIEW
PLEASE DO NOT CONTRIBUTE (OR CONTINUE) IF YOU CAN'T DEBATE YOUR POINT IN A FRIENDLY AND REASONABLE MANNER.

THANK YOU - RK

I'm not trying to start anything but a conversion on what everyone's take on this is.

I got out my ballot earlier and made my decsions - no new taxes - no on all the new measures and added bs they keep heaping on us. I don't have kids - that I know of - but I pay school taxes. NO I don't want to pay more.

I don't want more rules that bend the old rules and give up more of our freedoms.

I think the last four years have been the hardest of my life for making money. I squarely blame our whole political machine for that. I grew up in NY - hard core Democrat. MY father told me to vote for Jimmy Carter on my first election - Carter was an embarrassment to the office and arguably one of the worst if not the worst prez in history - not my words - off the history channel.
After I moved out to CA, I didn't have my father in my ear and started to become Politically aware- I am an Independent - I vote for the least of the evils, um, I mean the best candidate. It seems I lean more to the right because the left is too foo foo for me. I like my guns.
I think Prez Clinton was one of the worst - NAFTA- killed Detroit.
The Cole Insident = Osama's first hit.
The current Libya cover up is just another - "Tell Putin I'll have more flexibility after the election"

I don't want a world order - I want the United States of America I grew up in - BACK.
I think if you are in this country without permission you have to leave- now. Just like the rest of the world does. You think Germany lets it's borders go unguarded and then plays cat and mouse to "catch" them? WE do!!
For me this election is important - I look forward to placing my vote.

I HOPE my vote Changes the next four years better than the last four years. I would like to see the whole Obama-care thing just go away like it never happened. I'd like to see the US economy start growing again so the lost value in my home starts to grow back again. I'd like to go to the store and not hear people talking in languages that I don't understand.- no hope of change there unfortunately.
But I grew up in an America like that.

2006-2013 Democrats controlled the government and look where we are... :icon_sos: :icon_rip:

Everyone needs to participate in the process and at least VOTE while we still have that right. I am not particularly imperssed with either candidate, so I had to choose the lesser of two evils. Omama used racial division every chance he got, crammed the health care bill up our butts, has damn near established the "United states of Islam" in the middle east... man I could go on a on. I am not impessed with him or his administration one bit. He is anti-America and a racist.

And as far as Mittens... well he wasn't my first choice... or my second choice... but he is the other choice we have. What worried me the MOST about Romney is the media was working to sway public opinion in his favor during the republican primary... I haven't figured out why yet. Ron Paul would have been a good choice.

You bring up Ron Paul and after I did some research I think he had the best platform but not the money. I really liked Ross Perot- Ron Paul is in that direction.
Ross Perot warned in the Debates with Clinton that NAFTA would kill Detroit and our Manufacturing base.
It was like he had a crystal ball - the media at the time crashed his momentum and that was as close as I ever came to having an honest man in the white house during my life time. Can't imagine how good life would be right now in the US without NAFTA.
Clinton is hawking for another 4 more years... what are they thinking?

I think Americans will be pleasantly surprised with Romney. I been liking him since he's been trying to get a shot at the presidency 4 years ago.

It should be an interesting day today.

The significance of todays event... it will affect the whole world for many years to come, but I doubt the masses see it that way.

Its around 11am- by this time tomorrow...
I hope we have a better future.
I didn't see one Romney ad here in CA, but I saw plenty of BO- maybe Romney is strong here and we just don't know it. Lets hope so. If CA goes Romney he'll win.

I voted!!

I love living in the country. Parking...no problem. No one else there. Walked in..only one there.

With a smile, I flipped off all the over enthusiastic Obama supporters standing outside the door. They shouldn't be allowed to do that.

I''ll second that!! Sitting here at work this morning in shock. Can't see how my business can loose money for another 4 years. My state of NM didn't help any. Makes me want to move out.
