I would like to give all of you that ride with the Patriot Guard a heart felt Thank You. The Patriot Guard escorted my Mother-in-Law to her resting place in July in 107 degree heat. She was a W.A.V.E. in WWII. The flag line was - don't have the words.

I've been a member for several years but only gone on two missions, one to Dickson Tn and another to Clarksville. They don't give you much notice, often it's only a couple of days if that, and it's hard to schedule my days to their days.

The people behind the scene, ride captains and such are amazing at the effort they put in, so I salute them wholeheartedly. If you have never attended one of their rides, you owe it to yourself to do so. You will get an opportunity to see "America" as it really is.

It's hard to put it in to words, but the respect, military bearing, everything, will all but leave you in tears.

The Patriot Guard intend to be there and they leave no doubt why they are there.
