If what you're implying is that the tactics you've used on other forums (which have gotten you banned from 4 or 5 forums that I've seen) should be allowed, then this forum will stay this size if not shrink.
But evidently that's what you need. Are you kidding me Tourist is the only reason I keep checking in occasionally. For the most part this place is dead. Who cares if a thread strays a little, it makes it more interesting, I'm also sick to death at all these thin skinned so called bikers that can't seem to take a joke. Jee's some of these guy's need to go back to the scooter forum and post with there mommy's. So true Eddie! Hey BI, You know your not allowed to agree with me because I'm a sophist troll that's hanging around in my mama's basement. LOL. Sorry tourist looks like the shaft you gave me didn't work to well I'm still around. Like I told I don't give a damn what people think of me nor am I going to waste my time trying to change there minds. By the way keep it interesting. LOL

Then again, I have always disliked authority and privilege. I'm a HRF member, with the same rights as anyone else while being subject to the same bi-laws as any Joe here. I like it that way. Besides, I'm retired and I don't want to work for anyone but myself. BTW, I am writing a book now, and I get paid for that. More to the point, why don't you just offer a cogent rebuttal when you read something I/anyone writes? I don't have to punch a timeclock and you get to explain your position.

Yeah, you're a sophist troll and my part-time job is drawing warm baths for Whitney Houston. LOL. You're a grimy biker and we all know it. Only a nutball who is not a sophist troll would claim to be one, even in jest. Ya' know, HRF ought to give the prestigous "Copper Mousetrap Award" for fiction on some of these posts. I'll tell you why I'm here. The world is so devoid of old bikers who talk straight that I need to hear BI63 from time to time. When we joke, I get to laugh. When he kicks my butt it underlines the lessons learned from my mentors. One member here rightly described BI63 as "the heart of HRF" and I agree. (Go back and look at some of the longer threads. Towards the end of them, BI63 offers an opinion. It caps the overall idea and the thread dies. It's like watching a bunch of children fighting and then hearing their dad yell, "Don't make me come over there!")This atmosphere creates a place where we can let our hair down, complain about cheap parts, spear spammers, even yank HeadMaster and RK. In other words, it's like a saloon. You take that away from us and we have, well, West Coast. So, ya' old sophist troll, I'm happy you joined the nonsense. I'm going to make Deadeye my wingman here. I see some grit there, and remarkably little dryer lint. In fact, I've really enjoyed the whole forum this past week.

Well, first let me give you my opinion of "friend or foe." It is my understanding that these terms are "cyber" in nature. I always say, "If your back is to the wall in a bar fight, which would you rather have? Two of my real friends or 100 of your pretend FaceBook friends?" Our friendship might develop over time, but once secured we will be friends for a long time. I always jump into a brawl I know nothing about, otherwise what's the fun? Yes, I'm writing a book. I have about ten chapters done right now. I kill the hero.

Couple things..I been knowing Eddie Blitz a while...good people...not sure why or how he got labeled as a troll or it was a joke that flew way over my head. I know Eddies a big boy and thusly handled himself as the man he is. Glad to have him here and to have gotten back in touch with him. Was hoping Tourist, who I have always thought highly of and still do would see Eddie as the solid stand up guy that he is.
Moderators...a necessary evil. Lets discuss moderators for a second. 1st and foremost if every harley rider is gonna consider each other brothers why would a Mod crush a fellow "bro" without due process or bro consideration? I'll tell you why...todays riders throw the word around because apparently its the cool thing to do. Most have no idea of the depth of the meaning of the word "bro", at least to the extent I am comfortable using it or being called it. A bro doesn't throw another bro under the bus. A bro tries to understand the other bro rather than banishing without fair cause. A bro always has another bros back and a bro doesn't purposefully cause trouble because he knows he's got a back up bro. A bro is someone who has earned the priviledge of being a bro or calling another a bro. Buying a harley is not, I repeat is not criteria for being a "bro". If you think it is you've probably been corrected a time or 2 by someone telling you "I'm not your bro!".
Moderators often forget their purpose and it gets turned into a ego trip chest pounding one unpmanship rather then defending everyones right to an opinion, instead using there position to impose their personal or at times the demented and heavy handed/unfair will of the owner/admin who has no clue what being a "bro" means or how to treat a potential "bro" with respect, rather as a disposable and replaceable commodetty.
In theory a MOD should be advocating for the poster, NOT purporting/imposing a personal agenda of the mod or admin du jour. Bans/warnings should not be thrown about callously. We should treat each other like bros. In a perfect world the membership body should vote on a ban, thereby giving the offender a chance to state his/her position, not publically but in a established private thread that established members could vote and the potentially banned have an opportunity to explain their side.
*DISCLAIMER:Anytime I start pontificating please understand these are my opinions and not gospel. I am always open to anyones well laid out other side of the discussion.

But I beg to differ..it is you Tourist who keeps it real and who has pumped life into the HRF and why I kept popping in. And now Eddies here and I think he gets you too, HRF may start being the happening place it is all set up for?

I tell a few jokes, vent my spleen and dig around looking for Sportster modifications. If I was kidnapped and sent to Venus, HRF would move along quite well without me. Any organization, and that includes a forum, needs some form of 'rudder' and the guiding prinicples of a mentor with a vision. "The Clown Prince" doesn't serve that function, nor does he influence public opinion in a positive way. That role must be filled by 'the heart.' Consider your contributions dispassionately, as if you were an outsider looking at the body of your work. While I get banned for being an overbearing pain in the ass, you got banned recently for the horrid crime of insisting that a forum cling to its founding standards. Two totally different things. Several weeks ago we spoke on the telephone about this. You lamented the destruction of something for which you worked. Heck, I would have gone to the gym, grabbed a latte' and kicked the losers to the curb. And that's why people view us differently. "The Heart" of HRF made a contribution not based on pretty prose or a post count, but for the ideals.
