(Boy, you're up early this morning!)
Good memories. I was never arrested for petty stuff, in fact, the guys that hit me were never arrested. Those were the times.
Funny story. It was also a fad during my youth that cuffed jeans were also worn. You'd find something in your waist size, and then get them in the longest length possible. I think my pair I had 36-inch legs.
The fad came and went, and I tossed the jeans into my closet. After we were married, my wife needed jeans. Being very tall, she has trouble finding anything that fits. I told her to check the closet, and she laughed.
But I got her my jeans, and unrolled the legs. Tight waist, long legs. Worn and abused until they were nice and soft. She wore those jeans until they were rags!

Must be a thing with mothers. My mom tried to sanitize every memory and funny story my family ever had. She hated motorcycles. Once her and my dad moved to the suburbs it was like the entire front half of her life ceased to exist. She jammed my brother in a suit and tie every day for high school. I guess she had nightmares about my high school life and tried to keep that from happening to him.
She didn't have to worry. If you've seen 'Niles Crane' on the TV show "Fraiser," then you've met my brother. In fact, as an older man, my brother now kind of looks and acts like Wilson on the TV show "House."
One of us is adopted, but we don't know which one.
