Went a long time ago - I'd like to go again... probably not this year tho. When I get back that way I'll make sure you guys know so we all can meet up.

hey Road King you come this way get a hold of me for sure. The riding around Laconia is just like at Sturgis, after the rally the roads are still there and the 300,000 plus riders are gone. If you don't party you don't need the rally and the added cops. Sounds like you have done the rally maybe when it was real good like in the sixties and seventies. It was best when they had the roadside camping but that went away in 74 I think. just like Sturgis when you camped in the town park on LaSalle St.
and my garage is still available for a rebuild for you. DEERSLAYER

DS,

Enfield...theres a Duncan Donuts on the right side as your heading east and away from Enfield on rt4. There is also a large and spacious gas station/convenient store on the left 1/8 mile before the DD you might want instead. There is also a vancant "Rumonto's Pizza" store front on the left that makes for a decent meeting spot.

You'll be near me if you come thru Lebanon,NH. I'll email you my home and work phone #'s in case. I am working Sat/Sun. Off Thursday and Friday and why I'm heading there then.

I would take rt 4 into Canaan,NH and then 118 thru Rumney/Dorchester and catch 25 east that runs onto I-93 north and onto all those things you mentioned. The 118 is a windy scenic tour thru the back roads of NH. And is also more as the crow flies compared to the route you mentioned.

I will be home Saturday at 4:30PM..Danby is only 60 miles away from me. Maybe we could meet 1/2 way Saturday late afternoon early evening at say Singletons country store in Proctorsville,VT? its about 30 miles one way for each of us?

DS..I'm confused...you're coming up this Sunday (6-9-13)to Danby,VT? When exactly will you be to Danby? How long you gonna be in the area? I should just give you a call..when's a good time?

That rt 10 from Keene to Enfield is a very enjoyable and a scenic ride, taken it a time or 2. If time is an issue rt 9 gets you to I-89 and rt4 to Enfield faster. I-89 is wonderful and hardly any cars on it. Talk about panoramic as you head into the mountains.

I get it....your cousins coming from Danby...you're just meeting him in Enfield. You're not going to Danby.

I'm 10 years younger than you... in the 70's I was a little young to be riding to rallies - LOL
I did go when both the bike and myself were new(er) - 1995. And I had a blast - one of the best rallies I've been to. The girls were lining the road into town flashing titties, the only rally I"ve been to that happened. Got good and lit up then rode all over... took the highway back to Hudson, NH - where my buddy lived. Stopped at a steak house for diner and met a pretty girl that I took for a ride after diner then she followed me back to my buddies and spent the night with me - A real biker fantasy come true (she had a set that I still remember - whoa!!).
And you know if at all possible - I'm going to be wrenching at your place when the time comes - Thank You for the opportunity and the offer. I'm looking forward to not only your advise but also your expertise in getting a long life out of my bike. :icon_You_Rock:
