This Sunday/Monday October 7-8 I am hoping to head out to Newburgh,ny and vernon ,CT to see both museums before the riding season is over. Been trying to get to Motorcyclepedia for the last 3-5 years. New England motorcycle museum is new, just opened.

Rained out. Rained sunday and monday. Temps upper 50's low 60's. Maybe next year.

Yeah, we had our first rain of the year followed up by a week long wind storm out of the desert with hot and dry winds 45mph gusts.
Pretty much hunker down during the wind. All kinds of goodies blow across the roads. We have palm trees out here, they have a parachute shaped leaf/branch all in one with barbs on one side. Looks like a med evil sword or torture device. So yeah, you don't want to be cruising and have one of those babies fly across your path and gettcha.

Yeah..the riding days are getting few and far between here these days. We already had ice/slush/rain and temps in the low 30's. It was actually 27 the other night.

I did squeeze a day ride in friday. Miscalculated the temps,lol. Figured sun was shining so it would be warmish even though it as 42. Completely under dressed. Hope to squeeze in another day or 2 as temps going back to mid 50's. Indian summer! Woo hoo!
