Well here we are again in the beginning of a new year. Hope everyone had a great holiday. Now I know that some of you are just starting to think about where you will go on vacation this year.

Lets see if some of us can coordinate the possibility of getting together at some point. I for one have decided to do something this year and have some fun. A couple of my friends have suggested Sturgis. That is surly a possibility.

Will anyone visit another country?

Last years post was great. Lets see if we can top it this year :icon_hat: !!

Right now I don't have any plans to ride anywhere other than the usual places. But one never knows what the future may bring.

Hope all you adventurers have some memorable and fun rides this year.

DeerSlayer - I saw your overlook on that map thread... it was on the part of the "golden" segment. safe travels this year.

We are planning a trip to Glacier National Park this summer. I haven't ever been there, but people tell me it is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the US. Glacier National Park is approximately 1600 miles one way and we plan on using 9 days for our trip.

For that trip to Glacier go through Buffalo Wy. And pickup Chief Joseph Highway and at the end of that will be Bear Tooth Highway take a right and ride the best road in the US, you will end up in Red Lodge MT. A nice ride after that is head north through White Sulfur Springs, nice place to spend a night if you have any pains. They have hot springs all over town amazing in the springs. After that head up to St. Mary's and the road to the sun. That is the National park, I have done it a few times and always pleases. Camp out if you can the stars are amazing. Check out the sites I mentioned and it's easy to do. There are not many roads to choose from. You are picking a great ride enjoy.

We are also discussing a trip to Savannah, Georgia via the Gulf Coast in September.
