I went down to the dealership today to buy some new blue jeans, pick up a mechanic's personal knife to sharpen and find out about my "special VIP coupon."

I bought a new bike in 2010, and I'm now a member of the 'VIP Club.' I got deals, and I just got a coupon for in-house parts. It's now 2011, and it's kind of a use-it-or-lose-it thingie. I perused the shelves, and there ain't much happening.

I do have a locking gas-cap, and it's chrome plated and sometimes hard to grab and remove. I don't always need it, and I thought something I could grab better might be good for just puttin' aound town. I found a "skull" model.

Now, I like chrome, but this whole flames and bones and skulls theme is sort of childish. Reminds me of what a third grader might doodle on his desk out of boredom. Still, it's easy to grab, and they also included my blue jeans on the discount.

Hey, I'm stylin' now, I bought my first skull, and that singular honor encompasses time to 1964...

Yup, I really bought the thing. Here's a picture with my personal knife in front of it to prove I actually bought useless bling.
