Hi, guys.... I was on a trip last weekend & developed a bad rattle. Upon investigation, I found that the backside (ring) of the belt sprocket on the rear wheel had come off. I thought the sprocket was all one piece!! Is this ring made to pop off /& on? I spent 2-3 hours trying to get this back on, using C-clips, channel locks, etc. Any insight on this issuewould be greatly appreciated. THANX...

Hi Catfish,
I believe on the rear sprocket the "sides" are metal rings that are pressed on each side. It is a press fit, once it works loose, good luck on getting it back on.
