Hello everyone. This is my first time here, I own a 1992 FXSTC. Whenever I take a long ride my battery dies. (This happened recently). I just bought a new battery and still doing the same. Now that is getting cold I have plenty of time to work on it. Does anyone can tell me what could be the problem before I change the stator? :icon_sos:
Thank you for you help.

Hey softailray,

Welcome to the forum. Did you check out the voltage regulator? Before pulling the stator you may want to check the output when it is warmed up. Could possibly also be a grounding problem, loose wire touching the frame. Hope you find the problem. :icon_thumbsup:
