I've installed some accent lighting on my 08 ultra classic and would like to run them thru my acc. switch. In my owners manual it says there is a plug in front of the battery that ties into the acc. switch. The only one I can find is a grey plug that's hot all the time regardless of the position of the switch. What am I missing here?

You have the wrong socket.
I have a similar setup and the plug is controlled by the acc. switch ... Keep looking.
You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
