2007 Dyna Low Rider battery is draining every couple of days. The battery is new, the charging system charges at 14v at idle, all fuses are good and fuse box is clean. Did an amp draw test and found that it has a 1 amp draw with ignition off. Pulled fuses one at a time, and the only fuses that stopped the amp draw were the main 40a fuse and the battery fuse. disconnected the stator, regulator and ecm with no change. Then, I disconnected the tach, and the amp draw dropped from 1.0 to .6. Leaving the tach disconnected I then unplugged the speedo and the amp draw went from .6 down to .1. Not sure what to test next, but the draw must be in that circuit somewhere. Ant thoughts would be appreciated!
Thanks, Dale

Well, after disconnecting and reconnecting plugs and pulling the fuses and relays the draw is now down from 1 amp to .850 milliamps! Hopefully the battery stays up now and if it does I would have to assume that something wasn't making proper contact.

Hi nascar7613, welcome to the forum.
What you have here is an open circuit. This could be from a wire that is leaking through to the ground? Bare? Check out the power wire to the tach and speedo. A way to test them would be to identify the power or "+" wire and jump them with a "+" wire from the battery to the tach and speedo, with the original wire disconnected. Than see if you still have the battery drain. If this corrects the problem then you know it's the original wiring. Not real hard to test.
