It doesn't happen all the time, but often enough to be a significant problem. Maybe 15% of the time, when I attempt to shift up from 1st to 2nd, I end up stuck in neutral or it slips back into first. Occasionally, when this happens, I'll hold in the clutch and up shift two times to try and get into second. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Any ideas what's happening here?

2014 Sportster Superlow XL883L. 3,000 miles, stock everything. It started around 2,800 miles. No problems until then.

If it still under warrantee bring it to a dealer. I have no suggestion on a XL tranny. If you can find neutral without a problem your clutch is adjusted good. If you have a problem finding neutral them I would adjust the clutch and see what you have. DEERSLAYER
