Just found out the Fram oil filters I've been using for many years are now unreliable, ANY Suggestions, to other reliable brands?

K+N, Wix and Purolater all list Harley filters in their catalog if you have an aversion to OE. All are well thought of and if you want chrome K+N gives you that option.

Personally I use OE or Wix.

Haven't used an OE filter in years and believe that the reason my engine runs so good after all these years is because I used the better filters even if they aren't made the same now. Back in 1994 when I bought my bike a very close friend and professional mechanic took one look at the inside of the OE (Chrome) filter I was about to install and told me it was junk. He took me over to the parts store, My bike didn't have any oil in it or a filter... WE sized up a "Fram" and I installed it. 3000 miles later he and I did the oil change and there was a difference in the color of the oil, this time it wasn't as dirty. I bought a case of the filters and never looked back. My bike is 17 years old and doesn't burn oil or smoke so I'm very happy with the results. If I hadn't been made aware of the New Fram filters being unreliable I'd never change... IF it ain't broke... I've heard good things about the K&N so I think I'll see what they have.
Thanks for the input.
