It's the shoes.

I have my own view of stupid people. I no longer loan my jackknife to anyone, for their use or for their curiousity. Every one of these clowns puts his thumb on my edge.

Not only are they unschooled as to just what they hope to learn, but they slice their thumbs open, never seem to learn from the experience and then I have to clean their DNA off of an expensive knife before I can ever eat with it again.

Not around? Heck, I live here! I've cut my forum participation down to just four forums now (and that's a winter count) and West Coast is going soon if they don't get it together.

I have always liked HRF. Like decent saloons, a worthwhile forum should be a tougher place to earn your bones, and being a prospect should be required and valued. If you're going to thump your chest and profess to be a 'biker forum' then it seems obvious to me that enticing real bikers here is a mandate.

I'm sure I just offended a bunch of poser mothers' boys so severely that they dropped the lint trap, or whatever else they were (*ahem*) holding. I could care less. Even advertisers waste their money if a large portion of the audience is just teenagers with no money or no bike to be a comsumer.

A forum should be like a decent restaurant. You go there because you like the food. You stop going because the place deteriorates. I like to correspond with real road guys. If I want to talk to masturbating teenagers I'll join some blog disguised as a 14-year-old female cheerleader.

I only go on three forums any more.
