Here are a few pictures from my ride to the west coast earlier this month. From September 18th to October 8th my wife and I rode from New Hampshire to San Diego,ca. 7000+ miles. We averaged 400 miles day. We took 11 days to get there and 7 days to get home because we kept zig zagging here and there.

Hey since its around halloween...
When you were in the Hotel Del Cornado did you feel spooked?
When I went there I felt like someone was watching me and years later I found out its
one of the most haunted places on earth...

Thanks.

It was an awsome journey, just me,my wife and the bike. Of course a few credit cards to help along the way.

I'm not camping any more. There is somthing to be said for a bed,A/C,TV and somtimes a bar and restaurant in the same building, lol.

Plan your trip and go for goodness sake. We're not getting any younger, you can't take it with you and you know its what you want to do.

We didn't stay there as my college buddy/friend, who lives in San Diego, owns a house a block off Ocean Beach. We just walked thru there to see how the rich people live. It was impressive. Hard wood interior, huge, expensive and attractively built.

Thanks for the insider knowledge about the Hotel de Coronada. My wife will enjoy that tid bit and wished we would have stayed there.
