MAN...It's been so long since i have posted anything, I forgot how to do it. Anyway...lot's of broken bones, medical issues, etc.,and I'm back riding. Some of you long time members might remember that i have a 1982 Shovel, tricked and fixed. My question, i forgot how hard this old thing is to stop. i want to upgrade front and rear brakes to this century. Any suggestions?

Thanks, BI. I'll check into it. The original front brake is annoying, it rattles around on bumpy dirt roads and I need a winter project.

I have Lyndall brakes on my bike work great, link on the site here.
I got the pads online from the site a while ago and still going strong, stop on a dime.
Good to see the old guys still around.
