Just the first electric motorcycle for Harley, there are many electric motorcycles, and some a lot faster than the Harley

To expect to be perfect is unreasonable, to strive for perfection is reasonable.

I didn't word it right - or you read it the way I didn't mean it...

Either way you are 100% Correct!! This is Harley's First Electric Motorcycle but there are some very cool ones out there already. I did a search on youtube a while back and you'd be impressed with whats going on, I was.

Either way- I'd love to see how a bike like a road king would take to electric - probably the bees knees - just how do you get cross country while you're waiting to recharge batteries? maybe have spares and switch them out as you go and then when stopped overnight charge them all at once.

I'm getting an electric bicycle, so an electic motorcycle would be cool to me.

Speaking of Electic Bikes...

Here's my new Electric Bicycle - 4 inch fat tire electric bike - bad azz as a bicycle can get. Had a blast riding it yesterday - gets 30 plus miles per charge - made some poor bike nerd really work to catch me only to drop him like a rock after a few minutes.... I guess he didn't get the memo... Don't mess with the Road King... no matter what he's riding :icon_laughing:

The battery is vertical in the frame, behind the seat tube. 48 Volt - 13 Amp Hour

The rear hub contains the motor, 500 Watts - 48 Volt system.

Does 20 mph flat out, even up hills.

Always wanted a fat tire bicycle but they were just too heavy to be realistic... add a small motor and wow almost as much fun as my motorcycle. The thing handles great and those huge axxed tires really grip everything - goes through beach sand like no bike I've ever ridden.

Local Company I got it from: http://www.equalizerelectricbicycles.com/

Now I can set my sights on that LiveWire :icon_winking:
