What sort of mileage could reasonably be expected from a regularly serviced 1340 evo engine guys? Thanx

Hey Rod got your message! Thanks...

I guess like they always say your mileage will vary according to what you have done to the engine or your driving habits. You can drive it easy for better gas mileage or you can drive it hard for more fun. I don't own one but couple of my friends do and they comment that they get in the mid thirties stop and go and ridding it hard to in the forties on the highway. Hope this helps.

Ride safe and enjoy your day.

stock evo motor avg mpg 1 up was 40mpg plus on the highway. I had SE 204 cam added and it dropped to about 34-36 mpg but the 2 up and packed down take off and passing speed was worth the lower mpg.

I've got my EVO since 1994 - It used to get 38 city, 42 highway

I redid the engine last year - S&S 508 cam and goodies - now city 42, secondary roads - under 65 mph - 52-55 mpg, Highway 80+ - 40 mpg.

Higher top end, faster acceleration, better gas mileage - I'm very happy with it.

You can have it cheap.
You can have it fast.
You can have high quality.
PICK ANY 2....
